Staying With Us
The Ronald McDonald House is a supportive environment where families can enjoy a meal, connect and find strength with other guest families, sleep in a comfortable bed and have some normalcy during a stressful and trying time.
There is a step by step process to ensuring each family has a comfortable stay at the House.
In order for families to stay at the House the patient being treated at a local hospital must be younger than 21 years old and live more than 50 miles from the Ronald McDonald House located on 3402 Fort Worth, Street Corpus Christi, Texas 78411.
Reservation Process Referrals
In order to make a reservation to stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi referrals must be obtained. Referrals for guestrooms at the Ronald McDonald House are made through the social workers at the Corpus Christi area hospitals, where the patient is receiving treatment or through a Medicaid worker (Medical Transportation).
A referral is not a “reservation” and does not guarantee availability of rooms.
Families may check in between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. If unable to check-in at this time or if there is a cancellation please contact the RMHC office at 361-854-4073.
In order to offset some of our costs, we accept a donation of $25 per night per room. However, if payment cannot be made, we will be happy to work with our guests.
All adults staying in the room should present a valid photo ID and complete the registration process prior to being shown to their room.
New families will receive a tour of the House upon check-in.
Please check out by 1:00 PM if possible. Guests must empty their wastebaskets and bring down all linen (towels, sheets, blankets to the laundry room) before checking out. A check-out list will be given to the families upon checking in.
Guests are required to come to the front desk when they are ready to check out to sign appropriate documentation. Room keys must be returned to the front desk along with remote control for TV. If keys or remote controls are lost, there will be a $10 charge for a replacement.
Any outstanding guest room donations must be made upon check out.
